  • Does the set need two C rechargeable batteries installed for it to use the solar panel, or is it wired to serve the fitted battery? thanks

    Hi, thanks for your question. The radio requires the supplied battery to be installed to operate. The energy required to power the radio and it's built in features is taken from the supplied battery. The built-in solar panel charges the lithium battery.
