The restrictor provides safe ventilation and deters unlawful entry. Restricts the sash opening to avoid interference with foot traffic at ground level or walk-by situations. Safety stays provide a means for controlling open sashes in high windows or when restriction of large or heavy sashes is desired for safety reasons.

This versatile window stay includes a built-in release mechanism and a release tool allowing the release of the stay to permit window cleaning and maintenance without removing the fasteners.
